This report triangulates official documentation and independent studies. It does not claim to be a live, login-gated bake-off of every product. A website launch should add repeatable hands-on tests for the highest-traffic categories, especially meeting transcription, research accuracy, coding agents, calendar automation, and customer-facing agents.
What this edition contains
The twelve numbered reader chapters and original 36 product notes come from the supplied report and directory seed. The expanded edition adds 133 separately researched tools and 8 new field guides. Operational website strategy and roadmap material are retained privately. Sources and report dates remain separate from website publication dates.
What has been checked again
On 16 September 2026 we reopened the Microsoft Research work-pattern study and METR’s July 2025 developer study, and confirmed that the NotebookLM address redirects to Google’s Gemini Notebook site. The new catalog entries additionally carry individual official-page checks dated 16 September, and the new guides list their primary sources, including METR’s February 2026 follow-up. These checks establish source content and described product scope, not independent performance, current price, privacy or security certification. The original report is not silently re-dated.
What a new entry means
New entries separate vendor-described capabilities from Atlas editorial buying cautions. Published source titles and dates make the research inspectable. We omit candidates whose pages could not be substantively retrieved or whose product identity was unclear. A page retrieval is not a trial account or hands-on test.
How prices are presented
Product profiles hide dated price observations behind an explicitly labelled research note and link to the official source. Budget estimates are examples, not quotes. Verify availability, billing term, usage limits and your own region.
Corrections and commercial interests
